Celebrating Our U18 Girls Team: Norfolk County Cup Champions!

We are thrilled to announce that our U18 Girls team has claimed victory in the Norfolk County Cup this term! This remarkable achievement is a testament to the dedication, talent, and teamwork of these incredible young athletes.

Over the past few years, this group of girls has grown up together at Langley School, building not only their skills on the field but also lasting friendships. As some prepare to graduate this July, many will leave as some of our most celebrated sportspersons, having made their mark in the school’s sporting history.

The team’s journey to the cup was nothing short of inspiring. With members of the team training in the Langley Football Academy, they went on an impressive winning streak, showcasing their determination and skill, including their final 15-0 victory against Wymondham College.

Grant Holt, director of our Langley Football Academy, reflected on the growth of girls’ football here at Langley and commented that it has been “phenomenal” to witness their success. He aims to make the LFA “bigger and better” in the years to come.
