Last week, as we wrapped up the Michaelmas term, our students and pupils got into the festive spirit by hosting the much-loved Langley School Winter Fair. This event has become a highlight of the school year, and it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces come together to celebrate the season!
The fair was buzzing with excitement, featuring a wide variety of stalls, fun activities, and, of course, plenty of delicious food. One of the biggest hits this year was the “Soak The Teacher” stall, where our brave Head of Science took on the challenge of dodging (or not dodging!) flying sponges thrown by pupils.
In addition to the fun and games, the culinary talents of our Sixth Form students were on full display. They prepared an impressive selection of cakes during their Leiths CTH Level 3 Cookery classes, which not only delighted the taste buds but also reflected the hard work and dedication they put into their craft.
The school raised over £1000 for donations! All the proceeds from the event are going to our chosen charities, Each & Little Lifts. It’s a wonderful reminder of the impact we can make when we come together for a good cause.
