Expanding Opportunities at Langley Prep School from September 2026

At Langley Prep School, we are continually looking for ways to enrich the educational experience we offer our pupils. Alongside our strong academic foundations and established enrichment programmes, including initiatives such as the Junior Duke Awards, we believe children benefit most from a curriculum that stretches across disciplines; from the creative to practical and the technical.

That is why we are delighted to announce an exciting expansion of our curriculum from September 2026.

Introducing Two New Subjects

From September, pupils will benefit from the introduction of two new subjects:

• Engineering
• Food Technology

These exciting additions will provide children with opportunities to explore real-world challenges, apply their learning in practical ways and develop valuable new skills through hands-on experiences.

Furthermore, we are also increasing Art provision across every year group, giving pupils even more time to hone their artistic skills.

To support the developments, we are also investing in specialist learning environments that will enable pupils to engage fully with these new and expanded subjects, and we can’t wait to share further updates in the coming months!

A Curriculum Designed for the Future

A broad education is about more than academic success. It is about helping children discover their strengths, develop new skills and approach challenges with confidence. These new additions to our curriculum will enable pupils to learn, explore and grow in even more ways.

We want every child to leave Langley Prep School as confident, capable young people who can think creatively, solve problems independently and approach the future with curiosity and enthusiasm.

This curriculum expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to providing a broad, enriching education and we are looking forward to seeing our pupils embrace these new learning opportunities.
