Langley School hosts annual House Music Event

Yesterday, Langley Senior School and Sixth Form came together for our annual House Music Event, and it was truly a day to remember!

Throughout the afternoon, we were fortunate enough to witness some incredible solo and ensemble performances, and even got a surprise musical number from our amazing staff!

Our House Music judges for this year were four alumni members: Rebecca Birks, Milo Hill, Jacob Ocal, and Tom Davis.

Rebecca Birks, a music scholar at Langley, is now the Head of Events and Ambassadors for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. Milo Hill, who performed in school musicals during his time here, is now the frontman of the rock band Signature Gold. Jacob Ocal is now a concert pianist, teacher, and a graduate of Leeds Conservatoire. Tom Davis, who often graced the stage during his time at the school, is now a stand-up comedian and actor. Despite the difficult decisions they had to make in judging, it was a pleasure to welcome them back to Langley School for such a special occasion.

Congratulations to our wonderful ensemble and soloist winners, and a huge congratulations to the overall winner, Beauchamp (with St Giles 2nd, Crome 3rd, and Mancroft, unfortunately, coming in 4th).
