Norwich City professionals visit Prep pupils

Our Prep pupils today were thrilled to meet, chat and even kick a ball around with some very special visitors from Norwich City Football Club.

It was a pleasure to welcome Norwich City U18 player Takudzwa, who recently signed from Blackpool; Player Well-being Manager and former professional Rossi Jarvis; Academy Manager Joe Shulberg; and former Sporting Director Stuart Webber.

The visit was part of Neurodiversity Week, and it included open Q&A sessions, where the children asked about career highlights, fears and challenges. The answers and messaging were full of encouragement for our pupils, who took away some super lessons about ambition, determination and honesty.

The visit ended with the chance to play football outside with the former and current City professionals, all in glorious sunshine. What a wonderful experience for our youngsters, and huge thanks go to Takudzwa, Rossi, Joe and Stuart for being so generous with their time and for really engaging the children in a thought-provoking afternoon.
