This week, our Prep School had the privilege of hosting Jon Moule from the Norwich Foodbank, who delivered an engaging assembly for all pupils. The session highlighted the essential services provided by the Foodbank, emphasizing its critical role in supporting families and individuals facing food insecurity in our community.
Jon shared insightful stories about the work the Foodbank does, explaining how they collect and distribute food to those in need.
Following his presentation, Jon expressed his admiration for our pupils. He noted multiple times how impressed he was with their engagement, enthusiasm, and thoughtfulness.
This visit not only educated our students about the challenges some families face but also inspired them to think about ways they can contribute. It’s heartening to see our school play a part in such a worthy initiative, creating awareness and fostering a sense of responsibility among the younger generation.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Jon Moule and the Norwich Foodbank for their invaluable work and for sharing their mission with us.
