Sibling swim success

During the second weekend of the Norfolk County Swimming Championships, Year 7 pupil Lawrence (pictured) and his brother Austin in Year 10 raced in all the events, achieving some fantastic results:

Lawrence
*100m breaststroke – 12th
*50m backstroke – 2nd in heats, 3rd in the final and a new Regional Qualifying Time
*200m freestyle – 6th
*50m butterfly – 6th in the heats, 4th in the final
*100m backstroke – 2nd in the heats, 2nd in the final and new Regional Qualifying Time
*200m butterfly – 1st and Norfolk County Champion!
*400m individual medley – 3rd
*100m butterfly – 3rd in the heats, 3rd in the final

Austin
*100m breaststroke – 12th
*50m backstroke – 12th
*200m freestyle – 10th
*50m butterfly – 11th
*100m backstroke – 9th, reserve finalist, swam in the final 8th
*200m butterfly – 7th
*400m individual medley – 5th
*100m butterfly – 12th
