Sixth Form Celebrates Fundraising Efforts for Little Lifts Charity

This week, our Sixth Formers participated in a meaningful Packing Party in collaboration with the charity Little Lifts, creating care packages for individuals undergoing treatment for breast cancer. The event not only highlighted their commitment to community support but also marked a celebration of their recent achievements in the School Challenge 250, during which our students engaged in various fundraising initiatives for the charity.

 

Throughout the challenge, students organized an array of successful events, including a lively Pub Quiz in the heart of Norwich and an impressive Art Auction held in our ballroom. The “Capturing Courage” Art Exhibition was a beautiful testament to our students’ creativity and dedication, proving how art can be a powerful means of support. To learn more, click here.

 

Throughout the challenge, they have raised a phenomenal total of nearly £2,500, reaching their ambitious fundraising target with creative fundraising initiatives.

 

Anya-Lee Temple, the Brand, Marketing, and Community Executive at Little Lifts and a proud Langley School alumni member expressed her gratitude, stating:

 

“We cannot thank the students and staff at Langley School enough for choosing to support our small charity. They were the first teams to take on School Challenge 250, an entrepreneurial challenge helping to grow their skills and raise vital funds to support people affected by breast cancer.”

 

She continued, “We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating the students and their successes, showcasing what can be achieved through teamwork, dedication and kindness. A huge well done to the teams who have been brilliant to work with, as well as the staff who have kindly supported their fundraising efforts. We are inspired by their hard work, creativity and commitment to making a difference. It has been brilliant to offer this opportunity, and we look forward to supporting future students in building their skills, engaging with their local communities and spreading kindness.”
