Student Takes the Lead: Project Managing ‘The Essence of Audrey

Tilly B, a Nelson Scholar from Langley School, is set to project manage an upcoming show in Norwich as part of the next flagship event for the Future Leaders of NelsonSpirit.

‘The Essence of Audrey’ is a one-woman show about the life of Audrey Hepburn, performed and written by Helen Anker (who has starred in the West End, Broadway, and TV, and has toured the UK). She is performing this at the Garage Theatre in Norwich on May 12th 2025 (the week before she stars in ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ at the Theatre Royal Norwich).

The Future Leaders of NelsonSpirit, including Tilly, are actively involved in organizing various aspects of the show, such as marketing, publicity, ticket sales, backstage management, front-of-house operations, lighting and effects, as well as a Q&A session. This experience is providing them with valuable life skills.

This opportunity is a significant stepping stone for Tilly’s future career in the performing arts industry.
