Fantastic Week for Our Explorers Holiday Club

February half term saw our first Explorers holiday club sessions. We had a great turnout over the week, with two of the days at capacity. The wonderful thing about the Langley Prep site is the number of activities, facilities, and access to outdoor space that we are able to offer, and our Explorers made the most of it during the week, enjoying a wide range of activities.

They took part in activities such as art and clay craft, swimming, music and pond dipping. There was time for play in the adventure playground area, and the children made the most of the spells of dry weather.

Our next holiday club is in the Easter holidays, when flowers will be in bloom across our woodlands and the days longer, allowing us to take full advantage of the 100 acre site. We’re open every day apart from Good Friday and Easter Monday.

We have so many activities planned for the Easter holidays, likely to include softball, mini water polo, badminton, music, outdoor survival, rock painting, cupcake decorating and cricket.

We have three age groups within Explorers club, from Playmakers (5-7), Pathfinders (8-11) and Pioneers (12-13), subject to numbers, allowing us to offer age-appropriate activities. The club is staffed exclusively by Langley staff, all fully trained and expert in ensuring everyone is having fun!
