Bullard – Vocal and Instrumental 2024

On Tuesday 5th March, parents, staff and pupils came together in the Prep School sports hall for an afternoon of musical performances.

The ‘vocal and instrumental’ competition is the first in the Bullard music series, with the much-anticipated House Shout to follow.

Pupils from Year 2 to Year 8 took to the stage, with one performer from each house in each year group. It takes such bravery to stand in front of such a vast audience, and each musician did themselves proud.

We heard drums, flute, guitar, piano, trumpet, violin and vocals, taking on renditions of classic songs by ABBA, Adele, Bruno Mars, Nirvana, Taylor Swift, The Beatles and more.

Huge congratulations to individual winners; Olivia M (Hawks, Year 2), Oliver T (Hawks, Year 3), Zayan A (Crows, Year 4), Nayana M (Owls, Year 5), Elsie W (Crows, Year 6), Rory S (Crows, Year 7), and Jacob C (Hawks, Year 8).

The overall winning house was Crows, which is a superb achievement, well done everyone!
