Congratulations go to five of our Langley students who have been successful in gaining work experience placements with consulting company Capgemini.
Aimed at students who are interested in business or tech careers, the highly sort after placements offer access to a wide range of opportunities across various business and technology domains.
Lower 6 students Mollie and Zoe and Fifi, who joins us in Lower 6 in September, have successfully been accepted ontothe virtual work experience placement and Jacob and Lucia will be embarking on the hybrid/office scheme. Four of the students are also Nelson Scholarship as Scholars and Fellows.
Below we hear from the students about what they will be doing and why they are excited to be part of this project:
“I am really looking forward to meeting new people who have experience I can learn from and who are interested in the same field as me. I am excited to see more of what Capgemini do especially around social action. I can’t wait to learn new things and experience this great opportunity.” Fifi
“I am beyond excited and look forward to getting involved. I’m also looking forward to meeting the team, asking questions, and learning more about what to expect from the work experience.” Jacob
“I am attending the virtual work experience programme in July this summer. I’, really looking forward to working within such a strong and hardworking environment, the entire team are dedicated to their work and this is a mindset that I believe I can excel in. In addition to this, furthering my work experience is vital for my improvement within further academic fields and education.” Mollie
“I’m excited to get an insight into a London company with a large presence in cybersecurity, which is the field that I wish to enter into at university level. I am also excited to see how can push myself out of my comfort zone with newexperiences!” Zoe
“I have been accepted onto the Hybrid Business management and consultancy work experience in Holborn, London during the Easter holidays. I am looking forward to meeting new people with similar interests, learning about how large organisations such as Capgemini are structured and run. I am also keen to expand my knowledge on process design, organisational design, change management, Finance and HR. I feel that this hybrid work experience will give me a well-rounded view on how successful businesses operate day to day and will provide me with invaluable insight into this industry.” Lucia
