Langley Prep School is proud to announce that Clare Rackham, Headmistress, has recently gained a prestigious qualification in education, the National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership (NPQEL).
The qualification recognises the ability to lead at multiple levels; at executive, trust and system level. Holders of the NPQEL have the capability to shape strategy across the education macro-environment. The scope of the qualification encompasses areas of strategic leadership such as governance, finance, people and cultural leadership as well as initiating and executing transformational change within an education system.
Those with a NPQEL qualification have proven ability to build partnerships and to engage in thought leadership that defines future education strategy. The qualification ensures that long-term vision translates into sustainable and high-impact practice. Underlying the qualification is a strong commitment to values and evidence-led leadership, critical in a period where education must pivot to reflect the tidal wave of change that technology is bringing to the future of work and enterprise. It provides a foundation for embedding moral purpose and a focus on improved outcomes for individuals, delivered through an education system that evolves to meet the needs of society.

Clare completed the final stages of this qualification during an incredibly busy period since joining Langley Prep as Headmistress in September 2025.
