28th May 2025
Yesterday, Langley School took part in a poignant Le Paradis Service to commemorate those who lost their lives on 27 May 1940. The service was held at Norwich Cathedral and attended by several pupils involved in the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) programme at Langley.
During the event, wreaths were laid by Lady Dannatt MBE, the Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk, and Patrick Lines Esq, the High Sheriff of Norfolk. Various poems were recited to honour those who fought in the war.
The Langley School CCF is led by former service personnel and teachers, fostering adaptability, resilience, and confidence among pupils through a range of trips and courses.
