My name is Matthew Evans and I am part of the Digital Services team.

Where did you join Langley from and what was your previous role?

I previously worked at Notre Dame High School, which was part of a Multi Academy Trust spanning across Norfolk and Suffolk. In my role, I served as an IT Services Engineer.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your role at Langley…

At Langley, I am dedicated to creating digital projects that enhance the school’s operations and processes. This involves developing scripts to automate important tasks and setting up various applications to streamline workflows.

What do you enjoy most about your role at Langley?

The most rewarding aspect of my role is encountering challenges or issues and taking the opportunity to delve deeper into technology to find effective solutions. The feeling of relief and accomplishment, coupled with continuous learning, brings great satisfaction to my work.

Any hobbies/interests outside of school?

Beyond school, I have a keen interest in electronics and technology. One of my hobbies involves restoring old consoles to their former glory. Additionally, I enjoy expressing my creativity through painting, often working on unique portraits and landscapes using acrylics.

A fun fact about yourself.

In my childhood, I was part of a wheelchair basketball team, adding an exciting and dynamic dimension to my early years.
