Langley Prep School a Finalist in the Independent School of the Year Awards

Langley Prep School is eagerly awaiting the Independent School of the Year awards ceremony on 14th October. We are proud to have been named a Finalist in the category of Independent Prep School of the Year.
We are delighted to have made it to the final 6 schools in the UK. There were a record 650 submissions this year across all award categories, and our award category comprises a strong field of first class schools.
Independent Schools of the Year 2026 is the flagship awards scheme from Independent School Parent magazine, celebrating the very best of the independent sector and the standout experiences schools offer their pupils.
The awards are open to all independent schools that belong to an association within the Independent Schools Council or COBIS (Council of British International Schools).
Executive Head of Langley School, Clare Rackham, reflects on Langley Prep being shortlisted as finalists:
We are thrilled to be finalists in such a competitive category. While our most important audience is of course our families, external recognition is important validation of the work we are doing. We are so proud of our school, and it is gratifying to know that we are among the very best in the country.

There is a window in childhood that closes faster than most parents realise. Whether inside or outside of the classroom, the entire Langley experience is geared to make the most out of this time. Between the ages of four and thirteen, children form the habits, confidence and curiosity that shape what follows; not just their exam results, but the adults they become.
