The Great Tommy Sleep Out: Langley Unites for Veterans

This past weekend, the Langley community came together for an inspiring event as our Year 10 and L6 Cadets took part in The Great Tommy Sleep Out, created by the Royal British Legion Industries. After weeks of fundraising, they traded their beds for sleeping bags, all in a noble effort to raise vital money and awareness for veterans experiencing homelessness in the UK.

Despite low temperatures across the sleep out, their spirits remained high. Their enthusiasm and unwavering commitment during the challenge were truly commendable. By facing the elements, they not only tested their limits but also amplified their voices for a cause that often goes unnoticed.

The event’s goal was to raise funds to support homeless veterans, and the impact has been monumental. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved, nearly £3,000 was raised. This remarkable achievement will go a long way in providing essential services and support for those in need.
