Help where it’s needed

Scholarship and Bursary awards reward excellence and celebrate outstanding potential across a number of different areas.

We believe in supporting young people who might otherwise be unable to access the benefits of a Langley education.

Academic, Languages and Co-Curricular scholarships are available in varying degrees across the school. We also offer means-tested financial assistance dependent on the level of parental income.

More Information

  • Each year, we offer scholarships to pupils demonstrating outstanding ability in their chosen field. Successful pupils are rewarded with an annual amount deducted from their fees which lasts throughout their time at the school.

Langley Prep Scholarships are for entry into Years 3-8 at the Taverham site. These are reviewed at the point of entry to the Senior School. Prep School Scholarships are available in the following areas: Academic, Creative Design, Drama, Music and Sport.

Langley Senior Scholarships are offered at 11+ (Year 7), 13+ (Year 9) and 16+ (Year 12) entry points at the Loddon sites. Senior School Scholarships are available in the following areas: Academic, Art, Computing, Drama, Design and Technology, Food and Nutrition, Languages, Music, Photography and Sport.

A Langley scholarship offers fee remissions at 15% of the annual fee alongside enrichment and educational opportunities designed to maximise potential in our Scholars.

The scholarship programme runs alongside the means-tested bursary programme. Those receiving a scholarship will be able to apply for a bursary if they need assistance in paying school fees. Scholarships are based on interviews, performance and assessment.

  • Langley Sixth Form is proud to offer the Anthony Arthur Coward Scholarship, a prestigious opportunity for students with exceptional academic potential and demonstrable socio-economic need to gain a fully-funded place for two years of Sixth Form. This scholarship honours the legacy of Anthony Arthur Coward, a former Langley student from London who boarded at the school during the 1960s and 70s. His positive experience at Langley inspired his aunt, Barbara Hunt, to establish this scholarship in her will—creating a lasting tribute to the care and education he received.

This scholarship reflects Langley’s commitment to nurturing talent and providing access to excellence, regardless of background. If you are a driven student seeking a transformative educational experience, the Anthony Coward Scholarship could be your gateway to a bright future.

  • For families who would not be able to afford the full Langley fees, we offer financial assistance ranging typically up to 50% of fees.

Eligibility is assessed via means testing. Any family wishing to make an application for fee assistance should apply through the broader admissions process. A confidential ‘statement of financial position’ will be required from families of children invited to attend an interview.
