Success at the First Session of the Fishing Hobby 2025

The first session of the year for the Langley Prep School Fishing Hobby has been a resounding success, setting a positive tone for the upcoming events this year. Pupils of all skill levels gathered for an afternoon that promised not only the excitement of fishing but also the joy of camaraderie within the fishing community.

At the heart of the session was Sarah Thomson, our knowledgeable Angling Coach, who brought her wealth of experience and passion for fishing to the group of enthusiastic participants, affectionately dubbed the ‘Prep Piscators.’

It didn’t take long before the sounds of cheers filled the air— the ‘Prep Piscators’ were soon reeling in fish left and right. Among the catches were several impressive Common Carp, which showcased the effectiveness of the techniques taught by Sarah. The thrill of landing a good-sized fish brought smiles and laughter, further enhancing the sense of community among the participants.

Looking ahead, we’re eager to see how the next sessions unfold and what other big catches await us.
