The Senior and Sixth Form House Cross Country Event turned out to be a memorable experience for everyone involved! Under the radiant sunshine, participants exhibited remarkable displays of camaraderie, teamwork, and support, reflecting the spirit of our community.
Pupils from year 6 to Upper Sixth competed throughout the afternoon, cheering each other on from the sidelines. The event welcomed staff to take part, and one race even saw our resident well-being dog, Indi, compete for gold!
One of the most exciting highlights of the day was the newly introduced staff vs pupil relay race, which ignited cheers and enthusiasm throughout the crowd. The challenge brought together not only competitors but also spectators, fostering a sense of unity and fun.
Additionally, the pupil rock band “Lost Property” performed a series of cover songs throughout the afternoon, accompanying the races and filling the grounds with excellent music.
Well done to St. Giles House and Crome House, who found themselves in a historic tie, each taking home the coveted gold! This unexpected outcome added a thrill to the event.
As we look back on this wonderful day, it’s a perfect opportunity to celebrate our community spirit and sportsmanship.
