Meet the Team: Alex Green, Year 4 Teacher and Year 3 Science Teacher
Name & Job Title.
Hi I am Alex Green and I am the Year 4 Teacher, Year 3 Science, and I’m also assisting with year 7 and 8 games.
Where did you join Langley from/what was your previous role?
I was previously working in an International School based in Bucharest, Romania, where I was a Year 3 teacher.Â
Tell us a little bit about yourself and your new role at Langley…
I have a great passion for performing arts, sports, and ancient history. Most recently I have been gaining qualifications in stage combat for screen and stage! My new role in Langley will involve being a form tutor to one of the year 4 classes, taking them for English, Mathematics, and Topic and I’m sure Miss Nash will be making use of me in the drama department!
What are you most looking forward to in your new role at Langley?
I always enjoy getting stuck into topic, with the year 4’s focus on ‘Our World’ being particularly relevant, and I’m looking forward to getting back out onto the sports field, as a keen Rugby and Hockey player.
Any hobbies/interests outside of school?
Outside of school, I have been known to take Acting, Singing, and Dance workshops, whilst also getting involved in shows myself and keeping active! Having recently moved back to the UK, I have not joined any sports clubs yet, but I’m on the lookout.
A fun fact about yourself.
I once sang on a stage next to Brian May, when his guitar string snapped and was caught in his hair. We took a 30-minute break for the string to be removed.
